The Barraca Vilbor, dating from 1999, was built by the master hut craftsman David Monllau, the architect of the revival of this type of building in the Ebro Delta. Nature's materials were used to make it but the necessary comforts were incorporated and all the details were taken care of to make the house a cosy, warm and charming place. Surrounded by a wide garden with trees and native plants, it has a pergola and a barbecue, and corners to relax and feel good. Barraca Vilbor is accredited as an Information Point for the Ebro Delta Natural Park and operates under the sustainability criteria of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism.The barraques were the traditional homes of the Delta, made of mud, cane, straw and borró, and have been recovered while maintaining their essence.
